Pinelands Vs Paarl  (4-0 Win)

Another great game by the Pinelands ladies masters with 2 ladies In the team turning a year older on the day of our game against Paarl. Happy birthday Michelle and Robyn. We slowly hit our stride in the first chukka with an excellent goal by Wendy Gray from a short corner, taking a clean shot from the top of the D. Our forwards had some great momentum and beautiful opportunities running up with quite a few shots at goal. Ant took the second goal with a solo run up the middle with her amazing smooth stick work. The mid field managed to keep nice structure and supported the forwards with some great passes. The third goal was from another shortie with Michelle taking a clean strike. Our amazing backline defended like machines, not letting Paarl anywhere near the goal and clearing the ball wide for the team to have some great opportunities down both lines. Final goal was another from Ant in the fourth chukka with a beautiful diagonal shot from the left of goals. A massive well done to Lana, our man of the match, beautiful running down the line with a solid effort at fetching the ball and winning plenty of 50/50’s. What a great team effort.
